Closing the Loop on HDPE Pressure Pipe

We’re pioneering the future of sustainable mining solutions right in the heart of Iron Ore country, Port Hedland. Our HDPE Pipe Remanufacturing Project is a testament to our commitment to environmental stewardship and innovation - we’re not just closing the loop on mine dewatering pipe; we’re opening a new chapter in circular economy practices.

Building Climate Resilience;
Building Communities

Pilbara Circular Plastics is dedicated to enhancing climate resilience and strengthening communities. Our approach is rooted in practicality and focused on delivering tangible benefits. We believe in the power of collaboration and innovation to create a sustainable future for the mining industry and the communities that support it. Guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, it’s about smart solutions that make a real difference, ensuring a thriving environment for generations to come.

Closing the Loop: rHDPE Pipes for Sustainable Mining

Discover the key advantages of using recycled HDPE (rHDPE) resin in your mine water management solutions. Our innovative process closes the loop on HDPE pressure pipe, providing sustainable solutions while reducing costs.

Cost-effective

Reduce Emissions

Our Australian Standard compliant HDPE pressure pipes, remanufactured in the Pilbara, provide significant savings on transport to and from site.

Each tonne of rHDPE utilised offsets 2 tonnes of CO2e from virgin resin. Our location then drops 63% from transport emissions, compared to Perth manufactured products.

A prototype pipeline, compliant with AS4130 utilising our PE Neutral™ resin, has passed all laboratory and field testing requirements in the Pilbara.

PE Neutral™ - The Key to Carbon Neutrality

PE Neutral™ is the new industry benchmark for PE100 products. With over 24 months of development, it is the key to unlocking the path to carbon neutral water management infrastructure.

  • Compliant with AS4131 for use in HDPE pressure pipe

  • Made from 100% locally sourced recycled content

  • Certified carbon neutral LCA in development
